Earlier this year I finally got the spark of inspiration to continue working on my Pre-Uber Jason cosplay, considering I had originally started the clothing setup a couple years ago. When it came down to the mask budget-wise, I felt it was best for me to take a crack at it myself. It seemed simplistic enough. This is the second hockey mask I’ve ever done (on a legitimate blank), and I’m very satisfied with the way it came out considering I don’t do hockey masks very often. I even made the straps from scratch from an old belt! It has the accurate square belt buckle on the back of the straps seen in the movie and BTS footage. The blank came from cloverdale masks on etsy, and the quality of his blanks are excellent.
