Snowglobe Slaughterer

The inspiration came from the overall shape of the cheap-o $1 masks. Cut the jagged edges like shattered glass, the bullet holes and deflections like leaks or knicks in the side. Used a white gloss and a satin light blue for the different textures. Hand painted the details for the snowman with no head since it was decapitated off-sight, as well as a light silver in the cracks near the holes to show the glass look. Added the glitter to give the flakes in the snowglobe. For the blood splatter effect, I used the trick from the Last Responder mask which was super risky, but well worth it.

For this holiday, naughty or nice, Jason’s going to hack you like a piece of ice!
